Position Overview:
A public school district near Detroit is seeking a licensed School Social Worker for the 2024-2025 school year. This role will support K-12 students with social-emotional learning, behavioral intervention, and case management. Onsite is preferred, but virtual may be considered.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide mental health support for students
- Case management and IEP participation
- Collaborate with school staff, students, and families to promote social-emotional well-being
- Support students across multiple grade levels (K-12)
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
- LARA/310 Certification required
- Michigan School Social Work License (SSW-310 or MDE Credential)
- Two years of supervised post-MSW school social work experience preferred
